Melody Scanner turns songs into piano arrangements, chords, and melodies. Users can record music, upload MP3 or WAV files, or paste a YouTube link. Transcriptions can be reviewed and edited as sheet music, in a pianoroll, or as guitar TAB. Arrangement Mode makes piano arrangements matched to the user's playing difficulty and offers style options. Lead Sheet Mode transcribes melody and chords for an instrument, with sheet music, MIDI, or guitar-tab outputs; Universal Mode transcribes hearable notes from solo recordings of various instruments. Export formats include PDF, MIDI, MusicXML, and GuitarPro. The free plan allows recordings of up to one minute and sheets of up to 40 bars, with PDF export. The FAQ cautions that the core feature is transforming songs into notes rather than providing an accurate transcription. Melody Scanner is available on Android, iOS, and the web. The Monthly Subscription is listed at 499.00 USD per month, and the Yearly Subscription at 3999.00 USD per year. The product is made by Klangio, a music software company based in Karlsruhe, Germany.
