NoCheatPlus

Purpose: NoCheatPlus is an anti-cheat plugin for Minecraft Bukkit/Spigot servers that aims to enforce vanilla mechanics and prevent abuse of Minecraft or its protocol.
Detection coverage: Its checks cover movement, fighting, block breaking and placing, inventory, chat spam, and other malicious behavior.
Movement checks: Movement checks include flying, speed, excessive packets, fall damage, no-clipping, and vehicle movement.
Combat checks: Fight checks address such behavior as fake critical hits, out-of-reach hits, excessive hit rates, and invulnerability.
Compatibility: The project says the latest version can run across multiple past Minecraft versions and offers configuration options for issues with specific blocks.
Integration: ProtocolLib is required for network checks such as attack-frequency monitoring, and the README says unsupported ProtocolLib versions can disable some checks.
Plugin API: The feature documentation describes API support for other plugins, including exemptions and hooks for violation processing.
Other checks: The feature list includes chat and command spam prevention, captcha capabilities, inventory protections, and configurable checks against enderpearl abuse.
Installation: The README instructs administrators to place the NoCheatPlus JAR in the server's plugins folder and start a Spigot or CraftBukkit server.
Downloads: The README links to BukkitDev, SpigotMC, and Jenkins builds, including development versions.
Security and license: The repository lists a GPL-3.0 license; its README describes the plugin as making a server safer by preventing cheating and protocol abuse.
Compatibility limit: The README cautions that using a ProtocolLib version unsupported by NoCheatPlus can disable some checks.
Support: The README links to project issues and tickets and to a project wiki for documentation.
Intended users: The project describes NoCheatPlus as a plugin for administrators running Minecraft Bukkit or Spigot servers.
