Privacy and processing: For live AI processing, Paperlayer says it sends public paper content and request content to OpenAI over an encrypted connection, without intentionally including account, cookie, or anonymous identifiers.
Security: The privacy policy lists HTTPS transport encryption, secure cookie settings, signed anonymous identifiers with secret rotation, request-rate limits, access controls, and no database access exposed to the browser.
Support: The terms direct users to [email protected] for service inquiries and rights-holder removal requests.
