PQ Companion

Purpose: PQ Companion is a desktop companion app built specifically for the Project Quarm game server.
Core features: It includes a searchable game database, DPS meter, spell timers, NPC overlay, combat history, player database, progression tools, and custom alerts.
Combat tracking: The DPS meter tracks live damage for the player and group, with pet and charm damage attributed to owners and fight summaries that can be copied to chat.
Maps: Live Maps render zone data from the game client files and can show player positions, annotations, NPC spawn points, and user-installed Brewall-style map packs.
Zeal integration: With the Zeal mod installed, the app uses a local Windows pipe for live game state such as target health, pet name, group health, and casting state.
Other integrations: The trigger import wizard supports GINA, EQNag, EQLogParser, and PQ Companion packs.
Data handling: The app reads the game log and Zeal exports and states that it never modifies the game client or game data.
Local storage: Combat history is archived in a local SQLite store, and app data can be exported in a .pqcb backup bundle.
Alerts: Custom triggers can produce on-screen alerts, local sound, or text-to-speech, including optional locally installed Piper and self-hosted Kokoro voices.
Support: The site links to GitHub issues, Discord, and Ko-fi support.
Intended users: The app is built for Project Quarm players and describes itself as built by players, for players.
Notable requirements: The app requires Windows 10 or 11 and recommends Zeal for the spell checklist and inventory tracker to read spellbook and bag data.
