The record

Purpose: Quell automates Gmail and Outlook inbox triage and provides a daily digest of what needs attention.
Email actions: It sorts and tags messages, files receipts, summarizes newsletters, and drafts replies in the user’s voice.
Draft review: Drafts wait for user review and are not sent without approval.
Follow-ups: Quell tracks sent threads that expect a reply and can offer a polite chaser when a thread goes stale.
Assistant: Users can give Quell plain-English instructions or forward a message to have it handled.
Platforms: Quell offers a web app, a Chrome extension that works inside Gmail and Outlook, and an Android app.
Integrations: Quell connects to Gmail and Outlook using OAuth and presents them as one inbox with a shared tag system.
Data handling: Email content is processed in memory and discarded after the active action; the maker says it does not store email bodies or use mail to train models.
Security: The security page states that traffic uses TLS 1.3 and minimal stored metadata is encrypted at rest with AES-256.
Compliance: Quell says it is aligned with GDPR and CCPA and is completing Google’s CASA security assessment, expected Q4 2026.
Undo and deletion: Quell says it archives but never deletes mail, and its logged batch actions can be undone with one click.
Support: The support page directs users to email for the fastest way to reach a human and links to setup and how-to help.
Plan limits: The Pro plan includes two inboxes, 50 classified threads, 20 drafts, and 30 assistant messages per day; High Volume raises those daily limits and allows four inboxes.
After trial: After the 14-day trial, users must choose a plan to continue; otherwise Quell stops acting on mail while the account remains accessible for rollbacks.
