The record

Product: Rawback describes itself as an AI platform for photographers to preserve, understand, organize, and create from photo libraries.
AI features: The product lists AI analysis, people recognition, Dream recaps, AI editing, travel stories, gear, and places features.
Photo preservation: Originals do not expire by default while they remain within the plan's storage allowance, and users can configure auto-archiving and optional deletion periods.
AI capabilities: AI features include image analysis and ratings, conversational editing, face grouping, Dream recaps, and album-story drafting.
Integrations: The MCP connector can connect Rawback to Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client, and is included with paid plans.
Upload methods: Rawback's camera setup supports FTP, FTPS, or SFTP transfers, and lists JPEG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP, and several RAW formats as accepted by default.
Desktop support: The native desktop client supports Apple silicon Macs and Windows 10/11 x64 for monitoring local photo libraries and background uploads.
iOS availability: The native iPhone app requires iOS 26 or later, and its App Store listing is marked coming soon.
SDK limit: The Core SDK is publicly downloadable, but third-party use and production deployment require written Rawback approval.
AI consent: AI features are off until users explicitly consent, and the privacy policy says accepting its terms alone does not enable AI processing.
AI data sharing: The privacy policy says enabled AI features may send images or thumbnails and related content to OpenAI, Google Gemini, Tencent Cloud, or a user's configured provider depending on the feature and settings.
Security: Rawback says data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest where the underlying cloud provider supports it, and production access is restricted to authorized personnel with authentication and audit logging.
Support: The pricing page directs users seeking more storage or custom features to contact Rawback.
