RestoreThisPhoto

What it does: The service uses AI to draft repairs for old photos, including scratches, fading, creases, stains, and blur.
Colorization: It can add natural color to black-and-white photos, which the site describes as an interpretation rather than recovered fact.
Damage limits: Severely damaged areas may be reconstructed differently from the original, and missing faces, text, and precise colors cannot be recovered as facts.
Free previews: The site offers three free photo previews per connection per calendar month, with no signup required.
Original files: The service works on an uploaded digital copy and says the original scan is never altered.
Batch use: Users can upload one scan or a batch of damaged prints.
Privacy: Uploaded photographs and restorations are kept in private cloud storage and are not used to train AI models, according to the privacy policy.
Retention: Uploads and restorations are deleted automatically about 30 days after upload; purchased downloads are available for 30 days after purchase.
Payment handling: The privacy policy says payment details are handled by its payment processor and RestoreThisPhoto does not receive or store the complete card number.
Refunds: Customers can contact support within 14 days of purchase to request a rerun or refund if a restoration is not right.
Support: The site lists [email protected] for questions, accessibility requests, deletion requests, and purchase problems.
Intended users: The site presents the service as a way to repair treasured family photographs and preview results before paying.
Operator: The terms say RestoreThisPhoto is operated by the EditThisPic team.
