Overview

Scholva Behavior & Discipline is a student conduct platform for schools and other education providers that need incident reporting tied to follow-up and interventions. Its strongest case is for institutions seeking a structured behavior workflow without an upfront subscription cost; the free tier’s 200-student limit is a significant boundary.

Key features

Teachers can record a student, witnesses, severity, and evidence in under two minutes. Cases can then be investigated, assigned, tracked against deadlines, and closed with resolution steps. That chain of accountability is more useful than a simple incident log, particularly for schools that need to document what happened after a report.

Conduct history brings positive and negative behavior records together. Recognition points and gamification give staff a way to record positive behavior as well as disciplinary issues. Intervention capabilities include improvement plans, counseling referrals, suspension and expulsion records, PBIS-compatible support, and staff training logs—a broad set for institutions managing ongoing conduct needs, but potentially more than a school looking only for basic reporting.

Schools can configure family notifications by severity, batching minor incidents into weekly updates and sending immediate alerts for serious cases. Behavior records connect with Scholva Academics, parent Portals, and Analytics, so it is a more natural fit for institutions using those modules than for buyers seeking a standalone tool. Integrations listed include Google Workspace, Google Classroom, Razorpay, WhatsApp Business, SMS gateways, biometric devices, GPS fleet hardware, DigiLocker, and CSV/Excel.

Scholva says stored data is encrypted with AES-256 and connections with TLS 1.3, with role-based access controls and audit trails. It also says data is hosted in India on SOC 2 certified infrastructure and offers a Data Processing Agreement on all plans. The homepage says support replies within a working day and can help with setup, data import, and staff training.

Pricing

Scholva uses a freemium model and offers a free trial. Its Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, lasts forever, and covers up to 200 students. It includes incident tracking, positive reinforcement, PBIS support, intervention plans, and family communication. That is a substantial no-cost starting point for a small institution; schools above the student cap should not assume the free tier will cover their full population.

Custom pricing applies beyond the published free plan. Institutions comparing paid options should confirm the applicable student limits and terms before choosing, since the free tier is the only priced Scholva plan described here.

Platforms

Scholva is available on Android, iOS, and the web, giving staff mobile and browser access. That range suits schools whose staff work across devices, though the platform mix alone does not establish how workflows differ between them.

Who it's for

Scholva is built for K–12 schools, colleges, and coaching institutes. It is best suited to organizations that want incident handling, conduct history, interventions, and family notifications within a connected school workflow. It is less compelling for a small team that needs only a bare incident log, or for a larger institution expecting the free plan to cover more than 200 students.

Pros and cons

Pros: Incident reports can move through investigation, assignment, deadlines, and resolution, keeping follow-up attached to the original event.
Pros: The free plan includes intervention, PBIS, positive reinforcement, and family communication features for up to 200 students.
Pros: Severity-based parent notices and links to Scholva’s Academics, parent Portals, and Analytics support a broader school workflow.
Cons: The free plan’s 200-student cap limits its usefulness as a no-cost option for larger institutions.
Cons: Its range of intervention and connected-module capabilities may be unnecessary for schools that only need basic incident capture.
Cons: Organizations considering a paid plan need custom pricing rather than a published figure to assess the cost.

Alternatives

Behavior Management Software is a category directory for comparing options across the field.

LiveSchool is worth considering for schools that need broader platform support, including macOS and Windows, or a school-year pilot with SSO and rostering, all features, one grade level, and up to one school year. Reward System may suit teachers who want a free web tool focused on behavior tracking, analysis, referrals to other teachers, and improvement. ConductIQ is an alternative for schools seeking a paid web option with a trial and a Small School plan for up to 300 students. DeansList is another paid option with Android, iOS, and web access. PowerSchool Behavior Support and Abre Behavior & Discipline are paid alternatives with Android, iOS, and web access. ARCH is a paid web option with a District Premium plan described for district-wide deployment, multi-school dashboards, and cross-school analytics. Notis is a paid alternative available on web and Android.

Verdict

Scholva is a strong fit for small schools and education providers that want incidents, interventions, conduct history, and family communication in one workflow, with a free plan to start. Choose it for that breadth and the 200-student free allowance; look elsewhere if your institution exceeds the cap and needs clear published paid pricing, or if you only need a simple incident log.
