Purpose: SkipCV is AI-powered resume and CV screening software for recruiters and hiring teams that ranks candidates by fit.
Screening: It analyzes candidate resumes against job requirements using context-aware AI rather than relying only on keyword matches.
Weighted scoring: Recruiters can weight their criteria so candidate scores reflect the priorities they set for a role.
Disqualifiers: Users can set custom deal-breaker conditions to flag or remove candidates who do not meet them.
Candidate reports: The product provides fit scores, strengths, potential concerns, and suggested interview questions for candidates.
Document analysis: SkipCV says it uses Deep OCR to extract resume content and flag hidden formatting, white-font text, and suspicious patterns.
Candidate matching: It can group a candidate’s resume, cover letter, and portfolio together through identity matching.
ATS workflow: SkipCV is positioned as a screening layer to use alongside an existing ATS; the company’s comparison page says it does not provide job posting distribution or interview scheduling.
Integrations: The site describes using SkipCV alongside an ATS through exporting resumes for screening and bringing shortlisted results back into the ATS.
AI provider: SkipCV says it uses Anthropic’s Claude API for AI analysis and that uploaded documents are not used to train AI models.
Data storage: The privacy policy says customer data is stored in a private, dedicated PostgreSQL database hosted on a VPS, with TLS/SSL encryption in transit and access controls.
Document retention: The privacy policy says resume content is processed in memory during extraction and retained in the database only as long as the customer chooses to keep it.
Data deletion: Users can delete individual candidates, specific jobs, or their entire account history through dashboard settings.
Support: The site offers demo requests by email at [email protected].
