Song Cage

Song Cage brings chord, melody, lyric, and music theory tools into one songwriting workspace. Its chord palette includes diatonic and borrowed chords, secondary dominants, extensions, and modulation routes; suggestions are ranked against a melody and nearby chords. Lyric tools offer perfect and slant rhymes, synonyms, semantic suggestions, and a verb/noun generator. The free web plan costs 0.00 USD per free and supports one song, with chord tools, word tools, playback, recording, export, and view-only sharing. A Song Cage licence costs 99.00 USD per once and adds unlimited songs, PDF chord sheets, MIDI export, desktop apps, an AU/VST3 plugin, phone captures, collaborators, and web/desktop sync. Desktop apps work offline on macOS 12 or later and Windows 10 or later on 64-bit x64. Free iPhone and Android apps capture ideas offline but lack the full editor, timeline, export, and DAW. The plugin does not support Pro Tools AAX in this version. Song Cage says it does not use AI to write songs.
