SoundTools Soundboard is a free browser app for building and playing boards of audio clips. Users can upload files, record from a microphone, slice waveforms and assign clips to tappable buttons; multiple sounds can play at the same time. It accepts MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC and M4A files. Boards save in browser local storage, and users can export a whole board for backup or transfer. There is no fixed sound-count limit, but performance depends on device memory. Audio processing stays in the browser, and sounds are not uploaded to a server. For voice effects, users can export clips as WAV, process them in SoundTools Voice Changer, then import them again. The soundboard works in desktop Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox, as well as on iPhone and Android. Its free plan is 0.00 USD per free, with no account or installation required and no watermarks or limits. Playback comes through speakers or headphones; the app does not provide virtual microphone routing.
Who it is for
It suits people making soundboards for gaming, streaming, podcasts, presentations, teaching or fun. It can also serve Discord users who are comfortable playing clips through speakers or headphones rather than a virtual microphone.
