The record

Purpose: StoryState turns a described story into characters, a storyboard, and an AI generated comic while aiming to keep the cast recognizable.
Agent and workspace: The Comic Agent supports conversational creative changes, while the workspace supports precise review and editing.
Character library: Characters can be saved for reuse, linked to projects, and supported by identity anchors and visual reference images.
Planning: Users can turn a scene, script, or outline into editable pages and panel beats before generating images.
Generation review: Generated images appear as candidates that users can review, repair, and choose to finalize.
Styles: The home page lists auto match, manga, American comic, watercolor, cinematic storyboard, and ink fantasy styles.
Credit costs: The pricing page lists 30 credits for page generation or repair, 35 for a character identity anchor, and 50 for a character group reference.
Free use: Planning, writing, Agent conversations, and manual editing are always free; image generation and modification use credits.
Credit packs: Purchased credit packs never expire, and the page lists packs of 500 for $10, 1,500 for $25, and 3,500 for $50.
Consistency limitation: StoryState says image models can still drift and does not promise perfect consistency.
Data and providers: The privacy policy names Cloudflare, Neon, Google, Stripe, Resend, and DeepSeek, and says image-generation providers may vary by task or availability.
Security and deletion: The policy says passwords are one-way hashed, session cookies are HttpOnly, data is sent over HTTPS, and project deletion triggers deletion of project images from R2 storage.
Support: StoryState lists [email protected] for support and privacy requests.
Audience: The maker describes StoryState as a workspace for creators making continuous comics and says the service is not directed to children under 13.
Price from: $29/mo
