The record

Purpose: Sysrev is a platform for data curation and systematic evidence review.
Document types: Projects can review PDFs, title and abstract pairs, plain text, or structured JSON.
Labels: Sysrev supports Boolean, categorical, string, and tabular data extraction.
AI review: The Auto-labeler can suggest labels using generative AI, and its report lets users compare automated results with human labeling.
AI cost and access: Auto-labeler runs require project funds, and cost varies with the number of records, labels, content type, and model.
Search integrations: Sysrev provides built-in search options for PubMed and OpenAlex.
Import formats: Users can bulk import records using RIS, BibTeX, EndNote XML, JSON, or Markdown files, and can import PDFs or PubMed IDs.
Exports: Project data can be exported in EndNote XML, Excel, or Parquet formats.
API: Premium and Enterprise users can access an API key for programmatic interaction with projects through a REST API described by an OpenAPI specification.
Security: Sysrev says customer data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and AWS Key Management Service customer-managed keys.
AI data use: Sysrev says Auto-labeler input data is not used for OpenAI model development or improvement.
Notable limit: Sysrev does not support deduplication of imported records.
Support: Users can report issues from within a project or email [email protected].
Intended users: The maker describes Sysrev as suitable for researchers conducting systematic, scoping, and rapid reviews, including collaborative institutional teams.
