The record

Purpose: Tota11y visualizes widespread web accessibility errors in a way intended to be understandable to content creators and editors.
Use: The site provides a bookmarklet that users can add to a browser bookmarks bar and activate to inspect a page.
Browser support: The instructions name Firefox, Chromium, and Safari for the bookmarklet.
Extension: The instructions page links to a Chromium extension.
Contrast checker: The contrast checker calculates contrast with text boldness in mind and ignores transparent or visually hidden text in specified cases.
Alt text: The image and alt module prompts users to check whether alt text is accurate rather than treating its presence as sufficient.
Focus order: The Focus Order plugin identifies naturally focusable elements and elements with tabindex, while warning that its guessed tab order is not guaranteed.
Other checks: Modules cover headings, labels, empty elements, iframe titles, HTML landmarks, and explicitly set ARIA roles.
Integrations: The repository describes a community example integrating Tota11y into a webpack build for a React and TypeScript project.
Limit: The maker describes Tota11y as a visualization tool for common accessibility errors and says it is not designed to check everything.
Compatibility caveat: The maker’s page reports that a company Content Security Policy blocking scripts through script-src prevented the bookmarklet from working on some sites.
License: The Babylon fork is licensed under MIT, MPL-2.0, and Apache-2.0.
Security: The instructions page says version 1.2.0 added Black Duck security testing.
Support: The repository invites contributions and provides setup instructions using git clone and npm install.
