UI Prep Design System

Product: UI Prep is a design system UI kit for Figma intended to help users design quickly and confidently.
Tokenized variables: The kit uses Figma Variables for primitive and semantic color collections and for consistent spacing, sizing, and corner radius.
Modes and brands: It supports one-click light and dark modes and is described as multi-brand ready.
Components and layout: Components use Auto Layout, variants, properties, exposed nested instances, and interactive prototyping features.
Accessibility and spacing: The maker says the kit meets WCAG 2.1 contrast ratios and uses an 8pt base unit for spacing and sizing.
Customization: Primitive color variables can be customized to update semantic variables, number variables can change component sizing and spacing, and text styles can be updated with the Batch Styler plugin.
Integrations: The kit works in Figma; using it as a Figma library requires the Team Library feature available on paid Figma plans.
Getting started: Users download and unzip the design file, then drag it into a Figma Project or Drafts page; a free Figma account is sufficient to use the kit.
Intended users: The maker identifies students, solo designers, contractors, startups, agencies, and teams building or updating design systems as intended users.
License: The license allows customized end products for commercial, client, and personal projects, while prohibiting redistribution of the kit or making it publicly available as-is.
Refunds: The license page says digital product refunds are not issued and directs customers to contact the maker for help with receiving or downloading products.
Support and updates: The product page directs questions to [email protected] and says updates will expand components and documentation based on feedback and Figma feature changes.
Privacy and security: UI Prep’s privacy policy says Quanti Design takes steps to handle information securely but cannot guarantee security, and does not claim a named security certification.
Headquarters: Winnetka, Illinois, United States
