VanceAI Photo Colorizer turns black-and-white photos into color for family archives, historical collections, and creative projects. Its online colorizer treats areas such as sky, foliage, fabric, and skin separately before applying color. VanceAI says processing takes under five seconds and the system was trained on tens of millions of real-world color photos. It also cautions that a historically correct result is not assured for every image; the aim is plausible, natural-looking color for the period. The free online plan is free and includes 10 credits, with JPG and PNG uploads up to 5MB. Paid online plans start at $15.00 per month, and uploads can be up to 10MB. The Windows desktop app processes images locally, without credits, an internet connection, or upload-size limits stated for local processing. The product page says uploaded images are encrypted during transfer and deleted within 24 hours after processing. Integrations include an HTTP API, an Agent Skill, and a ComfyUI custom node; ComfyUI processing runs in the cloud and uses account credits.
Who it is for
It suits people restoring family or historical photos, as well as creators adding color to monochrome images. The local Windows app may suit users who prefer processing on their computer rather than uploading images.
