The record

Product: VoxMinutes is a local-first desktop meeting assistant that records system audio and microphone together while transcribing live.
Translation: It translates live into 13 languages.
Meeting notes: A local LLM can generate meeting topics, conclusions and action items with one click.
History and export: It supports full-text search across meetings and exports to TXT, SRT and Markdown.
Offline use: The app works fully offline once its models are downloaded.
Privacy: In local mode, audio, transcripts, translations and summaries stay on the device; content is sent to a server only when a cloud model is selected.
Cloud models: Optional cloud models include Doubao, Qwen, MiMo and Deepgram, and credits are spent only when a cloud model is deliberately selected.
Integrations: System-level audio capture works with meeting apps including Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and Feishu, as well as webinars, lectures, streams and podcasts.
Local model requirement: Models are downloaded or imported separately; the README recommends a CPU with 8 or more threads and says no dedicated GPU is needed.
Platform availability: Windows 10/11 is available; macOS is in development and Linux is planned.
Installer limitation: The Windows installer is not code-signed yet and may trigger a SmartScreen warning.
Support: The project welcomes bug reports and feature requests through GitHub Issues and questions or ideas through Discussions.
License: The project is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license.
