The record

Purpose: VSeeFace is a free, configurable face and hand tracking avatar puppeteering program for virtual YouTubers.
Face tracking: Webcam tracking covers eye gaze, blinking, eyebrows and mouth movement.
Avatar formats: VSeeFace supports VRM 0 and its VSFAvatar format, but not VRM 1.0 or Live2D models.
Avatar features: VSFAvatar models can include Unity features such as custom animations, shaders, dynamic bones and constraints.
Integrations: VSeeFace can send, receive and combine tracking data using the VMC protocol, and supports tracking input from listed phone apps including iFacialMocap, FaceMotion3D, VTube Studio and MeowFace.
Streaming capture: The site describes transparent capture through OBS game capture, Spout2 and a virtual camera; it says VSeeFace does not support chroma keying.
Privacy: The maker says camera and tracking data are not transmitted online, tracking is performed on the PC, and the app checks the site for update information without automatic updates.
Website analytics: The maker says the VSeeFace website uses Google Analytics, while the program itself does not include analytics.
Security updates: The download section says versions 1.13.38c4 and 1.13.38c5 include patches for a Unity security vulnerability and an input validation issue, respectively, and recommends updating.
Linux and macOS: The maker describes Linux use through Wine as possible for some users, notes limitations, and says VSeeFace does not currently render models properly on macOS through Wine.
Support: The maker directs users to the FAQ first and then invites them to contact @Emiliana_vt; the manual is described as a work in progress.
Terms: The terms allow commercial and non-commercial use, prohibit modifying the program except translation JSON files and claiming authorship, and describe the software as beta and provided as-is.
