XoLock

Purpose: XoLock is Xobin’s secure assessment browser for proctored assessments and AI interviews in a locked-down environment.
Lockdown controls: It blocks tabs, applications, screen sharing, virtual machines, printing, copy-paste, and secondary displays.
Restrictions: XoLock enforces more than 20 restrictions, including kiosk mode, fullscreen, URL allow-listing, shortcut blocking, clipboard blocking, downloads blocking, process monitoring, and single-display enforcement.
Preflight checks: Before launch, XoLock checks forbidden applications, permissions, network reachability, and monitor configuration.
Monitoring: The monitoring layer can detect identity mismatch, multiple faces, absence from frame, a second voice, second-device patterns, and unusual answer timing.
Human review: Xobin says flags include a clip, timestamp, and confidence level for human review, and the system does not automatically fail candidates.
Recovery: If a candidate’s machine crashes, the session resumes from the last saved answer with remaining time intact and logs the interruption.
Platforms: Windows and macOS run the secure browser, while Chromebooks use a supervised browser mode requiring camera permission.
Integrations: Listed pre-built integrations include Greenhouse, Workable, SmartRecruiters, BambooHR, Lever, Ashby, Slack, Google Meet, Google Calendar, Zoho Recruit, and Zapier.
Security: Recorded footage is encrypted at rest, access-logged, and deleted according to the configured retention schedule.
Compliance: Xobin states that it is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, with GDPR-aligned processing and configurable retention.
Support and setup: Xobin says most teams are live in a day, and enterprise plans include dedicated support and a dedicated customer success manager.
