Why Look Beyond Udio In 2026?
Udio settled copyright litigation with Universal Music Group on October 29, 2025, and agreed to build a licensed AI music platform trained on authorized music. During that transition, Udio disabled song downloads, and its planned Starstruck app is designed to keep generated recordings inside the service rather than send them to streaming platforms.
