Overview

Daktela brings inbound and outbound calls, live chat, email and social media into one contact-centre operation. IVR, call recording and an outbound dialer support phone teams, while helpdesk functions, analytics, a real-time panel, QA reviews and a knowledge base cover day-to-day service management. That combination can replace a patchwork of channel tools, but may be more platform than a small team needs if it only wants basic calling or messaging.

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Prague, Daktela runs its cloud infrastructure across two Prague data centres and says backups run three times daily. It also says it complies with GDPR and ISO 27001 and undergoes regular external penetration testing. Every licence includes 24/7 technical support in the customer's local language, useful for operations that cannot rely on business-hours assistance.

Key features

Voice, chat, email and social conversations share a platform, with routing and supervisor tools to help teams manage work across channels. AI chatbot, voicebot and email bot capabilities can automate customer conversations and hand off to live agents when needed. This is a meaningful advantage for teams with repeatable enquiries, although buyers should account for voicebot charges separately from channel licences.

Pre-built integrations cover CRM, e-shop, workforce management and back-office systems. Developers can use the REST API and SDKs for PHP, JavaScript, Dart, Python and .NET; an MCP server provides read-only data access. This range should suit organisations connecting the contact centre to existing systems, while buyers with simpler needs may not benefit from the integration breadth.

Mobile apps for Android and iOS include ticketing, CRM, calls, chats and real-time information. A desktop phone client is also available through the Microsoft and Apple stores. The platform is cloud-deployed and offers web, Windows and macOS access as well as Android, iOS and API support.

Pricing

Daktela has no free plan, but offers a 14-day free trial with access to all features and no commitment. Contact-centre and Cloud Phone licences are monthly per user; AI packages are monthly flat fees. Setup and onboarding are one-time charges based on project scope, so the licence price alone does not represent the full initial cost.

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
SMS	12.00 EUR per month per user	Two-way messaging, templates and automatic replies	Teams focused on text support
Webchat	15.00 EUR per month per user	Scalable chatbot, brand customisation and real-time chat with click-to-call	Web-first service teams
Social	25.00 EUR per month per user	Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram, comment management and reply templates	Teams handling social conversations
Voice	30.00 EUR per month per user	Inbound and outbound calls, unlimited concurrent calls, routing and recording	Phone support and sales teams
Email	30.00 EUR per month per user	Advanced templates, unlimited mailboxes and automatic distribution	Teams managing shared email queues
Voice + Email	50.00 EUR per month per user	Telephony and email	Teams combining phone and inbox support
Voice + Email + Webchat	62.00 EUR per month per user	Telephony, email and live web chat	Teams adding real-time website service
All channels · Omnichannel	86.00 EUR per month per user	Voice, email, webchat, SMS and social	Teams that need the full channel mix
Voicebot Lite	200.00 EUR per month flat fee	200 min / mo; overage capped at limit	Smaller voicebot workloads
Voicebot Advanced	600.00 EUR per month flat fee	2,500 min / mo; €0.25 / min overage	Higher-volume voice automation

The single-channel licences are the least expensive way in, but cover only one channel and can leave teams coordinating separate workflows. Bundles lower the barrier to combining channels; the all-channel tier costs 86.00 EUR per month per user before setup and onboarding. The Voicebot Lite overage is capped at its limit, while Advanced charges €0.25 / min beyond its included 2,500 minutes.

Platforms

Daktela supports Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows, alongside API access. Mobile apps cover core agent work such as ticketing, calls and chats; the desktop phone client offers another option for staff working at a computer. Cloud deployment avoids a stated on-premises requirement, but organisations specifically seeking self-hosted deployment should look elsewhere.

Who it's for

Daktela is a strong fit for customer-service operations that handle several channels, need supervisors to monitor activity and want automation or integration with CRM and back-office systems. Its local-language 24/7 technical support and multi-platform access also suit teams with extended operating hours. It is less compelling for a business that needs only a basic phone line, has little need for workflow tools, or cannot justify per-user channel licences and project-based onboarding.

Pros and cons

Pros: Voice, chat, email and social can be managed in one platform, with IVR, routing, recording and supervisor tools for contact-centre operations.
Pros: Chatbot, voicebot and email bot options can automate conversations and hand them to agents when needed.
Pros: Broad API and SDK choices, pre-built integrations, and 24/7 local-language technical support support more complex operations.
Cons: There is no free plan, and covering all five channels costs 86.00 EUR per month per user before setup and onboarding.
Cons: Setup and onboarding are one-time, scope-based charges, so the initial project cost varies.
Cons: Voicebot Advanced adds €0.25 / min for usage beyond its 2,500-minute monthly allowance.

Alternatives

For a broad shortlist, compare Omnichannel Contact Center Software, Contact Center Software and Call Center Software.

Webex App is worth considering if a free plan matters more than a dedicated contact-centre channel bundle; its free plan supports meetings up to 40 minutes and 100 attendees.
Amazon Connect is another paid option with a free trial and SMS and third-party messaging priced at 0.01 USD per contact; its price may vary by region and communication type.
Exotel Contact Center may suit buyers seeking voice and digital channels, dialers, call routing, standard CRM integration and quality management in its XPrime plan at 70.00 USD per month.
Luware Nimbus is an option for service-based routing; its Advanced Routing plan is 85.00 USD per month for 25 services or more.
Odigo offers a voice-focused alternative: its Voz plan is 40.00 EUR per month when paid annually, with incoming and outgoing calls, call-flow design and queue management.
Vonage SMS API is a paid, usage-based alternative for SMS, with pricing varying by country and number type.
Zoom Scheduler is a freemium scheduling alternative, rather than a contact-centre platform; its Basic plan includes one personal booking page and one calendar connection.
Mitel Secure Cloud is another paid cloud option for buyers comparing service packages.

Verdict

Choose Daktela if your service operation needs several channels, agent and supervisor tools, automation and integration options in one cloud platform. Its broad channel coverage and included round-the-clock local-language technical support are the main reasons to shortlist it. Look elsewhere if a free plan, a single basic channel or predictable low upfront costs matter more: there is no free tier, channel licences are per user, and setup and onboarding depend on project scope.
