To make a song with AI using your own lyrics, choose a generator that explicitly accepts lyrics, prepare a clean verse-and-chorus draft, then ask it for a vocal song while stating which words must stay unchanged. Prepare Lyrics That Can Be Sung
Before opening a generator, format the words so the sections and repeats are unambiguous. A lyric that reads well on the page may need shorter phrases or clearer line breaks to fit a melody.
- Label sections plainly, such as Verse 1, Chorus, Verse 2, and Bridge. These labels help you describe the intended song structure; do not assume every generator will interpret them the same way.
- Put each sung phrase on its own line. Mark a repeated chorus explicitly rather than relying on the model to infer that a line should recur.
- Check syllable length by speaking or singing each line at a steady pace. If one line is much longer than the others around it, shorten it or decide where it should be split.
