Notesnook
Notesnook is a note-taking app for web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. It works offline in part: free users can read web-clipped content without a connection, while paid plans include full offline mode. Notes are encrypted end-to-end before leaving the device, and the apps and sync server are open source under GPLv3. App access can be locked with a fingerprint, PIN, or password; especially private notes can have a separate password. A note can also be published as a web page, with optional password protection. The free plan includes unlimited notes on unlimited devices, 50 MB of attachment storage per month, files up to 10 MB, and 50 notebooks and tags. Paid plans provide 1 GB to 25 GB of monthly attachment storage. Integrations include Zapier, IFTTT, and Gmail, and notes can be sent through the Inbox API. Notesnook is made by Streetwriters (Private) Ltd., founded in 2019 and based in Khushab, Pakistan. Paid plans start at $1.67/mo (annual); subscriptions can be cancelled anytime without fees, and notes remain readable and exportable.
