Live analytics

The dashboard shows live visitor counts, pages, and referrers as events arrive. source

Privacy

In default stateless mode WebSight sets no cookies, stores no browser identifier, and derives visitor IDs from a daily rotating salted hash; raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are not stored. source

Purpose

WebSight is open-source, privacy-first web analytics with a realtime dashboard and product analytics such as goals, funnels, and retention. source

Retention

Data is kept until deleted; the privacy page says there is currently no automatic retention or purge. source

Segmentation

Traffic can be filtered by source, country, device, or campaign. source

Self-hosting

Self-hosting runs one Next.js application backed by a Supabase Postgres project and can be deployed to Vercel or another Node host. source

Session recordings

Yes source

Session replay

Session replay is included, and the repository README says replay is privacy-masked and can be toggled per site. source

Stored data limits

The tracker strips query parameters except allowlisted marketing attribution parameters, and WebSight says it does not store page content, form values, or keystrokes. source

Support

The site directs users to open a GitHub issue for help or other questions. source

Tracking setup

Installation uses a script tag or the npm package, and the docs list snippets for HTML, Next.js, React, Vue, WordPress, and more. source
